The Remote Job Search Reset: 14-Day Playbook

Stop applying into the void. Remote roles attract hundreds of applicants, so one generic CV and fifty "Easy Apply" clicks rarely stand out. This playbook replaces that with a focused 14-day sprint: about 60 to 90 minutes a day, and you finish with a tailored CV, a sharper LinkedIn profile, a list of target companies, outreach already sent, and a tracker that tells you what's working.

Your 14-day plan

• Day 1-2 — Clarity: pick your target role, pull keywords from real postings, build a proof list
• Day 3-5 — CV: a remote-ready structure, summary template and a 10-minute tailoring method
• Day 6-7 — LinkedIn: headline formula, About section, Featured and Open-to-Work settings
• Day 8-9 — Target list: 30 companies, 10 priority contacts and a simple tracker
• Day 10-12 — Outreach: 3 copy-and-paste templates plus follow-up scripts
• Day 13 — Interviews: a story bank and remote-specific questions and answers
• Day 14 — Review: the numbers to watch and a weekly rhythm to keep going
• Bonus: scam and safety checklist for remote job offers

Who it's for

People job hunting for remote work, experienced candidates whose applications get ignored, and career changers or freelancers moving into remote roles. It works best for office-based and online roles such as operations, admin and executive assistance, customer support, e-commerce, marketing and project coordination.

Honest note

No guide can promise you a job, and this one doesn't. What it gives you is a clear process and templates, so your effort goes into the things that tend to get replies: targeting, tailoring and reaching real people.
